So say Somalia was to take full advantage of its land, every inch of it, all the seasonal rivers brought back to life, all the rivers damed up trees planted in mass all over the country and every inch of arable land plowed. Considering our high asf birthrate to begin with, how much could our population possible reach. Could we reach 200 million people using with the land we have in Somalia alone? considering we take on farming in mass which will enable a population boom and more densely populated territory

In 2 decades with a Somalia like this we could possibly go from 15 million to 35 Million or more

Of Somalis continue to get 4 wives and hella kids and fertile land we shouldn’t worry about low population simple.

The biggest killer of Somali women back home is post labour haemoraging so we need more trained doctors and nurses equipped to deal with this. Also reer badiiyo women might not seek a doctor until it escalates and at that point it might be too late for her or the baby to be saved.

In addition, reducing the infant mortality rates would make a huge difference in our population growth. I think we need to outright move away from Reer Badiiyo lifestyles altogether and invest in healthcare and agriculture. We need hospitals or maternal clinics to be available to every citizen firstly and safety to be able to develop such large-scale projects successfully.

We cannot bring any seasonal river back to life. Most seasonal rivers are located up north, which has a semi-arid borderline desert climate. The rivers Jubba and Shabelle will both dry up in a few years. Our best hope is oil.

Somalis are growing much faster and have a much higher birthdate in kenya than kikuyus do if we take on farming we can easily expand onwards deeper into kenya and maybe even reach lake Victoria in a few decades.
