Short term solutions to ever increasing problems. The land is meant to be grazed and not farmed. Droughts will continue to become prevalent which makes farming in arid land futile. Using aquifers to farm will also be a waste where water is precious.

I posted this, not particularly because I endorse what was specifically put forth in the link, but the idea of using alternative methods focused on ease of implementation.

Grazing can be a problem, especially with our land. Someone needs to teach the locals proper land management strategies to mitigate overgrazing to avoid soil erosions and destruction of biodiversity.
