Indirect clash between Musa Bihi Abdi and Farmajo in Nairobi
There was deep disappointment in store for the Somaliland government at the investment forum that it organised on 30 November at the 5-star Fairmont The Norfolk hotel in Nairobi. And this despite the fact that the Somaliland president Musa Bihi Abdi had dispatched no fewer than four ministers (foreign affairs, economic planning, trade and mining). But the Kenyan cabinet secretary for trade, Peter Munya the deputy president William Ruto and two MPs declined the invitation to the event to avoid any diplomatic clash with Somalia and its president Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmaajo The snub was made worse by the fact that no diplomat based in Nairobi attended either for the same reason, and the Somaliland ministers' lack of international experience also proved to be a hindrance.

Farmaajo knows how to discipline the mamuul goboleeds. Previous presidents (Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Sheikh Sharif) didn't put much effort in it.

I could agree with you but then we’d both be wrong

Even those two were not that stupid to embolden secession. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud apparently shredded all the papers of his "agreement" with Silanyo as soon as he arrived in Mogadishu lol.

Can't fix his own country so decided to attack others

That's your opinion.

From a legal point of view, as Somaliland is not recognised by Kenya, Somalia has the ability to give direction on how to deal with Somalilander delegates.

Muh ictiraaf does not work here, its the rule of international norms and practices.

Truthfulness so often goes with ruthlessness
When you hold all the cards it becomes to easy to dismantle any Maamul Gobaleed specially Somaliland. It is pity because SL could have been a major major player in Somali politics but chose to self exile and lock itself away
