He said the absence of patriotic pan-Somalia leaders is one of the main reasons why Somalia can't get on its own two feet.

Dude is getting more senile by the day. He used to be one of the few African leaders with the ambition to take over a big chunk of Africa, starting with the second Congo war. It's a shame he's just wallowing in his dementia ridden existence now.

The whole conference was just a theatre play... don't take any of it seriously. At least not what's been recorded and published officially since nothing solid came out of it apart from empty pledges for $900 million in humanitarian aid. Even the backdoor talks were diplomatic bs since they all know British staff prepared the rooms...
