Hands down no candidate comes even close, the combination of being a professor, honest man, and having done many great works on the ground.

I had the pleasure of meeting him several times, anyone that has met him speaks highly of him, Farmaajo specifically asked to meet him before the selection of PM, because of the work he has done, still refuses to discuss anything that was discussed in that meeting, hence people speculated he may become the PM.

If only you knew the professor ask any of the old school people they will know, he was the head of education in the very famous school Farmaajo graduated from

The above is just rumours, the meetings between them went very bad and the soldiers are openly protesting against him for not being paid, he will never win any kind of election, not even in Dhuusamareeb today.

The very few MX fraction has pretty much abandoned ASWJ upon Farmaajo's advice, this bakhti saint is currently in panic mode begging Ethiopia, may a horrible malignant cancer afflict him and be his final abode (and even that is a mercy as it expiates his sins)

These rumours were spread by those in the Galmudug parliament after the PM asked for 45 days delay in the elections, it's classic politics, the government wouldn't dare make such a suicidal move after the latest wasiiro debacle and further grow the list of enemies against them

A close relative of mine knows him. My father has heard positive stuff and simple googling has affirmed my position. Pretty sure he'll win, he's popular and has done work in Hobyo, Gaalkacyo and Galmudug before so he has a very strong base behind him.

One of the few who has put in work for years before running for presidency any where in the somali peninsula. Good for you if he wins. We should all be careful of these opportunistic diaspora people who haven't lifted a finger and yet want to lead.

Looks like the populism has also spread to Somalia, so far 35 Parliamentarian have confirmed on paper they will vote for him
