Proposal To Revive The New Somali State

• We should adopt confederalism as our system of governance.

• The capital should be moved to Baydhabo.

• Every federal state should have the right to have their own standing army, navy and possibly airforce.

• Our new writing script should be Osmanya

• The king of the confederation will be Boqor Burhaan similar to the Queen of England

On confederalism it’s not cemented in the constitution, some are still asking for the cursed centralization others are asking for a weak/toothless federalism.

I’d move the capital to Baydhabo to take it away from the cursed people, the Rx are a very docile people and won’t chimp out plus there are already a considerable number in PL I’d give them political power in PL for a stake in their port of Barawe, prime farm land and make them our pets...they’ve already hosted the TFG as well.

Osmanya must be the script of the land to cement our influence.

The Boqor being the king of the land won’t be up for debate, the queen of England didn’t ask our neighbours to our west if they wanted her to be their queen.

I think we do need a new capital though, outside our largest city like Washington DC meant only for politics,
especially with the safety issues in Somalia I think it should be moved for a safe remote well secured area that the politicians can live and it should be outside the federal states just like how Washington DC is outside the state system, and DC residents have really no representatives that they can vote for

That's actually a plan I would gladly support but moving the capital to Baydhabo is very dangerous. Rahanwayns are the sleeping giant of Somali politics, giving them a huge political tool as the freaking capital of the nation is reckless and we should not be supporting that.

like I said above we need a dc type capital, we should basically copy americas state system.
the capital should be independent of the federal states and should have no representation, basically a heavily secured politics town where delegates from each region come and pass laws like in the usa.
the system now is like having newyork as a capital which wouldn't work especially in an unsafe place like Somalia where people can get easily upset and retaliate at politicians. we need to make a new capital town and replace Mogadishu with banadir state.
