I've been there and seen the massive villas the Omani Hartis live in, mashallah for them.

I actually know these people, what are you talking about?

They are considered Somali Arabs and have their Somali clan names.
They have not been absorbed or adopted into native Arab clans, they are called "Daarood" or "Somalis" but they intermarry with the locals.

Somalis always dress and speak like Arabs even in Somalia with their khamiis and "umu" and "abu" nonsense.

Even the ones who grew up in Arab countries after the civil war act like Arabs so why blame/insult these people who are actually Arab maternally and have the nationality.

These people are literally the equivalent of the Arab Salahs in Puntland who are Somalised Meheri Arabs.

They share a long standing business/familial relationship with Reer Bari Daarood that spans centuries.


The civil war and the horrible tuugsi/mooryaan attitudes ruined the Somali reputation but before that Somalis were known as merchants and warriors.

We even used to give charity to the Saudis.

Some of you have such low self-esteem and are not aware of your own roots so you don't know how to act.

Somalis have never been known as "adoon" or "poor", except for after the government collapsed and the worst of our nation embarrassed us world wide with all sorts of crimes.

I been to Oman the cali saleebaan and other puntlanders are 100% Somalis. They go back and forth from puntland and Oman but there is another harti population that has been there for over 100 years and they have lost the language and parts of the daqan.
