It's quite smart actually. It breaks morale in the enemy because they believe surrendering is an option. After the fighting is over they can be killed when they are given the death sentence in court.

Because they are also part of Alkabaab.
Those use to attack Puntland army in-case they are near to mountains.
How the f*ck are they this rich and were able to smuggle this into the country? Lowkey so scary.
They have rich foreign backers and we have a long coastline and a non existent navy.
They have lots of supporters from different backgrounds on Arabic Twitter where they speak openly and arrogantly. To them, Somalia is a no mans land that anyone can set up camp after being pushed out of Syria and Iraq. So glad to see them being wiped out. Just hope that measures are put into place to prevent them from returning.
