Let's be real guys, deep down we know this. PL acts like it's own state, yes it gives 'lip service' to being a regional govt, but it has it's own constitution which is SUPERIOR and ABOVE all constitutions in the land until one is 'made official' and when it's made official, it needs to be put thru the parliament of Puntland to be ratified again just to make sure PL can relinquish it's independent status to a proper federal government.

Till then Puntland is a nation state and functions as one. It has far more power then any other state, even SL is just a pure lip service secession, they have to do everything with hamar approval. Where-as PL, we make mogadishu ADAPT TO US, we don't ADAPT to them. We haul their ass into garowe and shake up the nation to make sure it becomes like how WE WANT. No clan has this power, only the mighty majerten.

PL needs to stop giving lip service that it is a mamul gobol, ma ahan. We are not regional govt nor do we act like one. It's the same game SL plays acting it's an independent nation when it's not, it's all lip service. We need to come out clearly to somalia and say we are an independent nation untill we see a satisfactory constitution that pleases us and is approved by our parliament and people, till then yes we are independent. Similar to Scotland, they held a referendum on their nationhood, puntland will hold the same procedure when the constitution is finalized about us joining Somalia as a regional govt.
