DP world has been apparently sitting on their asses while collecting taxes but hasn't made any significant progress in regards to upgrading the Bosaso port. I welcome this development, hopefully my good friends in Qatar will fill the void.

Mashallah and good riddance. Dhegcas waa tuugo. I knew it was a bad idea from the very first day. I am just glad none of my doomsday scenarios came true like what happened in Djibouti or the port being held hostage for years. We're lucky to have gotten rid of them before they made any investments so we can't be sued.

We should contract the Turkish company who is constructing Garacad to upgrade Bosaso. They already successfully built the airport in Garowe. More importantly, it should be self funded because that's the only way to get anything done.

DP world doesn’t operate in bosaso 0port but it’s subsidiary P&O does. DP world is for large ports while P&O deals with small and medium sized ports.
