Either you want the government to succeed or you want it to fail. Got nothing against MJ's personally. But this isn't HSM or shiekh sharif. Either get in line with the Federal government or be against the federal government. Don't hide behind allegations like "Narcissism" and "nepotism". Say you want a leader you can control with your chest. But either way the shacab in that region have voiced their opinions lets see what happens in a few months.

I have love for Puntland and it's people, but the political class has been a proponent of anti-government sentiments which is something I am in opposition to. In all other respects there is no need for me to praise puntland because I already believe in the vision just like how Jubbaland is another vision that needs to be brought up to speed. However if you and your buddies decide to undermine the authority of the central government we will be in different thought camps and that's fine.
JL has far more potential then PL yet it's lagging behind. It's due to the security issues. The port is dead when you look at it thru google earth and it's because most of your states are under shabab and you can't travel through the land. You need to fix security in the region for trade to flourish and for your port to be the busiest in the south after Mogadishu.
You have the best farm-land in Somalia which only means you can create so many markets locally and overseas for it. You got trade links to ddsi, all jubba regions and gedo, nfd. Your just a fuckin dumb ass. You got coastal resources and fishery. Livestock trade from interior nomads. You got plenty to be the most strongest in the south.
Like you said security in the south is not as easy to handle. There are a lot more volatile variables and players from abroad trying to meddle in affairs. Jubbaland is a strategic hub for one foreign country in particular (Kenya) and they have installed a puppet in Kismayo that has stalled progress for a few years to line his own pockets. His time is ending soon and just about any other leader that has the necessary qualifications can take it to that next level and kick kenya out of internal somali affairs once and for all. Al-kabab has a foothold in some of the areas because madoobe used to be a part of them and I'm sure he still has some sympathies towards them or he would've done something. But things are looking bright for the jubbaland region if security is improved. All of the maamul gobaleeds would get a marked increase in prosperity and wealth if they allowed themselves to be lead by one leader and not try to undermine that leader. But Dr.Osman if you believe yourself to be a sensible and logical person you wouldn't allow your judgment to be clouded by foreign actors that are playing proxy wars inside of Somalia.
If he does come back I hope his given the finance one. We need to fix this shit, it's impossible the way it is now. No proper financial system, laws, etc. We aren't even fully utilizing our current taxable markets on the land properly. The rule to tax is simple, the govt must get at least 10% of anything in operating in it's land since it's the owner of the land where you are making money. Small traders, large traders, residents and home owners, taxes on each item not at the port but also when sold to people in the market place, cars, etc. Nothing should escape the govt hands.
It's sad when I see kismayo port and the way it is, I wish I had your port in Bosaso. They even dont allow amisom to safeguard the route for your areas SO ONLY WINNER IS MOGADISHU AS SAFEST AREA IN THE SOUTH.

First off lets not hurl insults at one another no need to get uncivilized, farmaajo is playing the long game and so are we. I see the kismayo port I was there recently and there are definitely big plants that are in the works for it. However implementation for great success in kismayo and jubbaland as a whole can come when Madoobe leaves. When there is a leader elected to Jubbaland that has similar views as the president and his vision aid can be dispersed to the region and greater economic growth can be had. However at this point that's not happening because Kenya like I said before has installed a puppet to safeguard their interests. I'm not sure if you've been keeping updated but there's a large military buildup in Gedo and there has been for the last couple of months. An offensive against any insurgent groups will be coming soon and all groups that are in opposition to peace should be brought down I think we can at least agree on that front.
Mog survive on the all south being inside of it's city, the second jl/bay are safe, their goes the jubba/bay businesses and locals to baydhabo and jubba. Once galmudug is safe, u think those habar gedirs will stick around? their going to galmudug niyahow. Abgaal is worried only noone else as it will see it's city power diminish and HG come to challenge them in the future for hawiye dominance rather then play this second fiddle game they do now as they are hostage to them in mogadishu.
Rahanwayn and Darods will establish their own base of power also, this will mean the south will be balanced out in power, not all controlled by abgaals in hamar and those who are hostage to them which is all the south.

With hamar status undefined this sidelines abgaal more from hawiye power and galmudug will be the voice of hawiye this is the way they see it people like xaaf and so forth.
HG doesn't have the attention span to focus on something like that. Their sub clans can't even agree on Galmudug state forget about coming together to thwart the abgaals. But jubbland is a great base of operations for south Somalia. Once we are in charge of it again this time they should give the leadership position to the rightful president of Jubbland the man that was in the shadows working on its creation.
Is the Marehan and HG relationship still alive or is it like the irir project isaaq/hg had, it's been shut down. Is Marehan focusing more on JL future? Interesting watching this man. I liked it when he said 'JL IS HERE TO STAY'. Anyways what is the relationship between Marehan and HG nowadays? everyone left HG from what my analysis on their history. They first were friends with hawiye like abgaal and he turned around said f*ck you after the 4 month war and split off, then murusade joined and eventually left after kuwait. Then marehan joined them and im not sure if it's still alive or have they followed and said goodbye? Isaaq cut ties early on in the 90s.

Relationships between any tribes in the south are fluid man, I'm sure the complexity grows moreso when HG is involved. At the moment they are not united amongst themselves so I'm not sure about the state of their overall relationship.
So are you saying the prospect for sade n hg is alive? Abgaal hate them bar wacaysle who is from mudug and their generally scared of 'harti abgal' who are like the maxamud saleban of abgaal in terms of politics and even traditional elders, the imam hails from them and is always who MJ befriends, we prefer clans with history, not this wacaysle who was under keenadiid.
But in all honesty HG lost the most in the war. No more friend in isaaq, abgal, murusade, and I would suspect 'sade' because farmajo watched kheyre f*ck them up in mogadishu. Their now fighting bimaal to add more enemie on the list. MJ hated them after 91 so that was never going to happen.
HG has fought against almost every major tribe and theres no love lost between mx and hg we've fought many times no need to rehash the history. But when our interests are aligned then we have the mj/abgaal style relationship. At the time the two have different objectives I believe so the relationship is not really active. Seems Gaas is cozying up to his neighbors in galkacyo though hows that relationship coming along.
