Puntland Universities Question

What are 900 Puntite students doing in Hargeisa and Borama? I heard from someone they go to hargeisa and boorama after they are not 'accepted' in Puntland universities due to the high standards required from students and there is shortage of places. Another theory is they go to hargeisa and borame because puntland universities are low quality. Which is closer to the truth? I am not sure. Because I haven't seen any university reforms at the scale of what happened with our primary/secondary schooling. Any puntites can comment who live there? @Reer-Bari @Suldaanka since your in the land as we speak so you may know more about this.

It's a shame we are still using Hargeisa airport for transit, It's very expensive to get off puntland airports so has anything changed about this yet? I remember checking a ticket for my father and Dubai to Bosaso was like 600 dollars and dubai to hargeisa was half that. Amoud & Hargeisa Universities are one of the oldest and the best one out there only reason being they partnered up with universities in the UK to develop their courses and accreditation. The only other good one is Burco.

I've visited all 3 and what I see from the students is that they're all relatively cheap and will give scholarship to students who finish high school and have a dead or poor parent (check their website) plus also facilities not just libraries and books but student Life the vibrancy of a city.

The airline thing is down to the authorities in PL not answering themselves well enough.
Only reason Hargeisa is cheap is thanks to the many airlines that already fly there daily.

The next airport the govt is to build is Las Anod because of Sool Governors pressure. Last week they laid the foundation stone.
