I'd like to engage in a little hotepry if you guys don't mind.
Could there be a connection between the word Qabri (Grave/Tomb) and a Egyptian deity named Khepri.
en.wikipedia.org
"The god and the scarab beetle represented creation and rebirth."
"As a deity, Khepri's main functions were creator, protector, sun-god, and the god of resurrection."
"The Amduat is the nightly journey Ra, and by proxy the sun, takes through the underworld, as he is exhausted and aged from his day's work of moving the solar barque across the sky. Through this voyage across the underworld, both the Ra and the sun are reborn, as the god takes the form of Khepri, who leads the sun across the sky during the morning"
Let's lay out the steps
1. To experience rebirth/resurrection, what needs to happen? You have to die. dUh
2. When you die, where you do you go? 6 ft under, marking the site of a burial/grave.
Graves/Tombs (Qabri) represent a transition and rebirth into a new form of existence (Heaven or Hell).
I feel like the description pans out.
I now summon @Maakhri2024, the greatest linguist of our time, to bring out the colored pencils and reinforce my hotepping.
