Qabri = Khepri/ḫprj?

I'd like to engage in a little hotepry if you guys don't mind.

Could there be a connection between the word Qabri (Grave/Tomb) and a Egyptian deity named Khepri.

Let's lay out the steps
1. To experience rebirth/resurrection, what needs to happen? You have to die. dUh
2. When you die, where you do you go? 6 ft under, marking the site of a burial/grave.

Graves/Tombs (Qabri) represent a transition and rebirth into a new form of existence (Heaven or Hell).

I feel like the description pans out.

This would be a lot easier to answer if we knew preislamic somali doctrine though For now i think what we know is qabri being an arabic loanword قبر which is ultimately semetic with akkadian origin. The dung beetle in somali either doorshaan or xaarwalwaal so there is no help there

Although if we decipher sumado we could possibly learn more about the preislamic belief but for now there is not enough evidence

It is intresting to think of it as being an ancient loanword between akkad and kemet taking on different meanings due to differing post life beliefs
