You know things are bad when you ask somalia to side with you
Qatars future doesn't look bright we don't want to side with the losing side and anger the SaudisQatar should picked in an instant.
They are definitely better than Saudi Arabia

Why can't they just leave Somalia be?
Especially at a time when stability was starting to return to the region somewhat.
Is it really that important to them that Somalia pick a side?? It's just 1 number among many nations and doesn't even hold that much influence...they must be real desperate.
What Somalia wishes it could do rn:
Would Somaliland do the same?
If they're smart.
I say Somalia needs to mend ties with Iran only then can it be neutral.
Perhaps, but even if it wasn't intentional...a vulnerable Somalia would still be in the interests of the US. The coastline, instability/infighting, and whispers of oil make the region a quite appealing target in the geopolitical quest for power and resources.Perhaps this is the work of the US to bring Somalia down
After all, Somalia was part of the list of one of the countries that the US wants to bring down.
This is not good at all.
Somaliland will cut ties with Qatar, even though they don't have any ties with them to begin with. No doubt. If they're smart.

And by list, are you taking about the '7 countries to watch' by the Obama admin or the central bank related one?
Arabs f*ck eachother over while Somalia watches from the sideline

Way too late for mending ties with Iran just by observing the current hostile environment within the gulf/GCC plus it would be seen as a belligerent move (especially for a gaajo nation like ours) towards the gulf nations who are already too involved in Somali affairs.
