Mahmoud Saleebaans have 12 seats in the parliament that counts 66 members. That's not even close to a majority. Nobody is stopping others to enter the dirty field of politics. People shouldn't be honourable and wait for the presidency to be handed over to them on a silver platter. If you want to become the leader, go for it and get the job by any means necessary.

Puntland, until recently, did not have the institutional capacity to hold elections across such a large landmass. Now it has become much easier due to technology. Hopefully there will be elections in 2018.
