In all the historical pictures I've seen I've never seen a lightskin Somali.

Where did these demons come from and how can we get rid of them???

That's not true. Lightskinned Somalis exist in Somalia and abroad. Some of you may come from families where that's not the norm, and that's what's affecting your outlook.

In my family, it's not 'rare' at all, we have plenty of light, maariin and dark.

Somali easily get hyperpigmentation, I got lighter back home by not going out in the midday sun, meanwhile, my brother got darker.

They're a Swahili speaking ethnic group who claim to be the original inhabitants of Kimsayo. They don't look like other Swahili groups though, more like intermediates between Bantus and Horn Africans. It'll be interesting to get a DNA study on them sometime.
