When India a country famous for its poverty,rape culture,filthy slums,farmer suicides etc get offended for being compared with Somalia is when you know Somalia has taken a huge dive from it's former glory days.I can name you 10 countries today that are much poorer that Somalia today just naming a few Eritrea,Ethiopia,Afghanistan,Sierre Leone,Liberia,South Sudan all these countries are factually more poorer than Somalia today.It's true yes Somalia has gone through a very brutal civil war that resulted in a man made famine and crippled by internal clan conflicts and mainly terrorist groups but the civil war did not take away Somalia's longest coastal line in Africa we still have it,Somalia is still believed to hold the largest natural gas and oil reserves in the East African region these are facts surveyed by international oil corporation in both Somali vast lands and seas,Somalia boasts itself of the most populous livestock population in Africa along with the most fertile areas in Juba that is said to be able to produce more than Somalia can consume but WHY IS IT THAT SOMALIA IS ALWAYS USED AS AN EXAMPLE IN VERY EXTREME SITUATIONS?The answer is very simple Somalia has lost it sovereignity you do NOT have a country without sovereignity and this is a result of many factors most critical being regional administrations such as Puntland,Somaliland,Jubaland lets not lie to ourselves and be carried away by petty qabil politics am from one of these regions but the truth is these regions have greatley undermined the Somali government making it look more of a formality than an actual government and the fact that they maintain armies that do not answer to the central goernment has made the situation far worse,Lack of sovereignty has also lead to many African countries scavenging on Somalia in a bid to earn some dollars from the UN and EU any African countries army can come to Somalia today without nothing happening because Somalia completely lack it's sovereignity proof of this is Kenya's army invasion of Somalia without no sort of approval from the Somali goverment to add injury to the situation the Somali partliament actually voted for the WITHDRAWAL of Kenya's troops from Somalia but it amounted to absolutely nothing with foreign troops in your country you can not advertise Somalia as a peaceful place for speaking out loud how do you convince anyone that SOMALIA is a SAFE PLACE when you rely on BURNDI for your security of all countries freaking Burundi! and adding on the huge flow of NGO'S flooding Somalia creating the most extreme pictures so as to gain donor funds some even using photos from as long as 1990s in their campaign has continuously painted Somalia as a failed country to the rest of the world.Many evils has come as a resultof Somalia loosing it's sovereignty which i cant outline on a facebook post it will require A BOOK.WE DO NOT WANT FOOD WE DO NOT WANT EDUCATION BUT WE MUST GET BACK OUR SOVEREIGNTY BECAUSE WITHOUT IT WE DO NOT HAVE A COUNTRY THAT IS THE SIMPLEST WAY I CAN PUT IT.
