Well if that’s the average than 50% of xamar residents will make more than $300. Anyway, there are many factors involved. Majority of homes will be multiple occupancy, so it will be many people sharing the rent. Similar to london, every room is rented separately. Also large number of xamar residents don’t live in constructed buildings but makeshift homes, a lot of these are rent free. There’s also diaspora, ngo’s, civil servants driving up prices.
