I was talking with my Canadian friend the other day he said he’s thinking of moving to San Antonio. Canada really going downhill

Wages are low and rent/buying a home is high. Only reason I’m staying is that I can work and save money because I live at home with my parents. Though I want to taste the American riches and the salaries y’all make just once in my life so I’d do the same

I wonder how you’d get in. Like are you gonna marry in for a green card or do a try a work visa situation. But even then I don’t think that leads to citizenship. You might need to pull an anchor baby maneuver.

Oh no I just want to temp work then come back to Canada. Then beyond that idrk I’ll move to another province.

Sorry I just saw this. Teens/Youth are having extreme difficulty getting even fast food jobs. I can vividly remember how in 2021 you would get so many call backs for jobs but now you barely get any callbacks. Your resume could have the craziest projects but its all based on luck. I've asked my friends about the coop portal they used to apply to jobs and I'd say it had a maximum of 140 job postings ranging from IT, secruity, random ass camp counselor job, digital media, etc. Barely had any good engineering positions. By the time it was Feb 5th theres only less than 40 jobs posting. Mind you their schools near Toronto which is the hub for everything yet their still finding difficulty. Everyone competing for entry level jobs sucks for the university students they are competing with some high level competition.

I don’t want to go from cold to colder. Also MN is too small I saw Minneapolis has a smaller population than Harlesden and that’s a borough.

Big city, good weather, lots of Muslims, great quality of life, good women. I was thinking Dallas
