Regulate alcohol and khat in somalia

alcohol is illegal in somalia so people smuggle liquors from ethiopia and kenya , in my opinion we should legaize and TAX alcohol so the government can make some money.

Alcohol is legal in many Muslim countries, if people want to drink is their choice, the government should not force people to follow Islam.
People are going to drink anyways. Somalis drink foreign alcohol so the money goes outside of the country.
People in somalia also brew their own liquors which can result in poisoning .



KHAT

Somalia has no khat plantations so we buy KHAT from Ethiopia and Kenya, I think we should plant our own khat instead of buying this drug from foreign countries, the government should sell small amounts of khat just like cigarettes are sold in the west.

I also think that we are a bunch of hypocrits because khat is a clearly drug but it's accepted while alcohol is not

People already use khat a lot....but they buy Ethiopian and Kenyan khat, we should plant our own khat so we will stop giving money to Kenyans and ethiopians

I think their are plantations in Somalia. The biggest Khat drug dealer surprisingly is somali. He's worth over $100 million
