I’m not a fan and can’t lump all of Cayr together. I’m from a sufi Cayr background. We fought off Shabaab at their peak (2008) in Guriceel and Dhusamareb, the biggest blow to Shabaab we’ve seen and showed other clans they could fight back.

I supported the ICU and our fight against Ethiopia tho. A just war

1) The way this wannabe journalist talks and pronounces is so annoying. Why is he trying so hard to sound like the guy who voices videos of caught Al-shabab members on SNTV?

2) Al-shabab have no qabiil.

3) Cayr were the first clan in Somalia to have effectively rebelled against and defeated al-shabab in Guriceel before rooting them out from our territory in whole. If it wasn’t for Al-shabab telling neighboring clans like Duduble, Murusade, Xawaadle, Waceysle and Saruur, “cayr hiding behind religion (ASWJ) are coming to take your lands” we would’ve wiped the khawaarij hell hounds from central and south central Somalia.

4) If the lives of khawaarij rats hailing from our clan meant anything to us we wouldn’t have thrown them in mass graves with other khawaarij rats during the liberations of Guriceel, Dhusamareb and Matabaan. If Cayr were al-shabab sympathizers our lands would’ve been al-shabab safe heavens like Murusade and Duduble lands, but instead we were the first to take up arms against those khawarij rats when they controlled Mogadishu and every other town. So how is the clans of those khawarij rats relevant?
