The Quran distinguishes between different sets of kuffar.

Also, for example, you can eat meat slaughtered by people of the Book, you can marry a woman from among them, etc.
And then for example there was the Ethiopian king who took in Muslim refugees and I think Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) actually said that he was a just king or something along those lines. Some Christians are genuinely friendly, pleasant people. Although of course, they'll want to convert you to their religion.
I do think some kuffar are clearly worse than others. I mean.... the kuffar that are promoting stuff like Al-Shabaab, ISIS, Boko Haram, that were behind the killing of Al-Awlaki's daughter... these are kuffar who are on an incredibly extreme level of evil. These are likely the type that are involved in weird secret satanic sects and that kind of thing- on a whole other level of evil than the ordinary people.
Now I want to detail what I believe.
I believe Anwar Al-Awlaki was an MK-Ultra handler. I don't think he was just an ordinary Muslim imam who just went in a wrong direction. I also don't think he was just writing fataawa on pieces of paper or just giving talks and influenced people like the Fort Hood shooter and the Underwear Bomber.
I don't believe at all that those latter two were just ordinary Muslims who just came across an Al-Awlaki talk and suddenly wanted to do what they did.
I assume the Underwear Bomber was probably an MK-Ultra victim but with the Fort Hood, I think it basically is one hundred percent certain- he didn't just come across a lecture- that man was subjected to MK-Ultra programming. I think it was blatantly obvious that he was an MK-Ultra victim.
These are not ordinary people who just snapped. These are MK-Ultra victims.
