I don’t know if someone posted this already, but the reasons that stopped the Russians are corruption, communications devices were imported from Chinese web stores, everyone one with radio communication devices heard Russian commands, muddy season and untrained soldiers.

I think Russia will capture kiev in the summer

Russia has advanced slowly because they've been trying to minimize harm to civilians.

In fact, the Russians have been trying to set up humanitarian corridors for civilians to flee and the Zelensky regime has been trying to prevent the humanitarian corridors because they want to use the civilians as human shields.

I don’t think so, I can see how farmers are taking tanks from Russians . Their failed miserably

Any invasion of Poland will be nuclear war, Russia not that stupid.
An invasion of Poland would not lead to nuclear war but probably a regular conventional military conflict instead. I understand NATO not doing much for Ukraine because they don't really care for it, they will not allow aggression towards Poland however.

Poland is too close to central & western Europe for it to be abandoned to the Russians.

I think it's time to give up on this "Russia is losing" narrative. People can read the posts from the Reddit volunteers. It's pretty clear the "Russia is losing" narrative is fake and I think the best strategy at this point for the pro-Ukraine side is to come up with a new narrative- unless you only want to convince the uninformed and clueless.

What is very clear is Russia is losing the war on twitter and winning the actual war on the ground.

I understand that they are mocking the foreign fighters who came to Ukraine expecting an easy fight but I don't like the way they're talking about the Afghans.

The Taliban weren't just farmers but a proper fighting force that many times held their ground against American soldiers.

It seems that they were misled into thinking that the Ukrainian military was well-prepared and could properly support them. It's astonishing how people think that the Ukrainians are prevailing when their cities are being besieged and military units are being encircled by the Russians.

I've actually changed in terms of my thinking. I thought the US had the best military and the Russians couldn't fight the US military. Now I don't believe that. I think the Russians have the best military. Myself and many other people promoted the idea that "wokeism" undermines military effectiveness. I think it is clear and I think it is going to become even more clear. People with reddit ideology are not combat effective.

The US military is used to having a ridiculous amount of having the upper hand- I'm not denigrating Afghans or Iraqis but it really is true- there is a big difference fighting Afghans and Iraqis versus fighting the Russians. The Russians probably have the top military in the world. The Afghans and the Iraqis are brave but the difference is in terms of equipment and resources. I saw an interview with a Taliban spokesman and he himself talked about how the Taliban had to work with limited resources and didn't have the same kind of equipment the US had.

I hope not for the sake of the evil US but for my own sake because I live here (through no fault of my own because I was born here)- that the US backs down and stops provoking the Russians.

I think Russia and China are the big superpowers and the US just needs to accept its new role as no longer being the global leader.

Losing what? I said it was a failure, not lost

So they're winning and failing? How is it failing if you are winning?

It's a failure because the Russians have yet to establish complete superiority and shouldn't be struggling as much as they are in light of the fact that they are considered the 2nd most powerful military in the world.

Habibi listen to what am saying, there first strike was complete disaster, even Putin took some generals down. But that doesn’t mean they lost the game

Disaster but they're winning? I'm not understanding your spin. I'm reminded of the fact that your side doesn't believe in objective truth.

I have to slightly disagree that Russia has the best military, it's just the fact that they have the advantage in Ukraine at the present moment.

If they were to attack a NATO country (like Poland or the Baltics) it would probably be not so advantageous for the Russians, especially if other NATO members get involved simultaneously.

You say they are struggling. They could have levelled the country Iraq style, easily but they are trying to minimize harm to civilians. By no metric are they failing outside of information war.

I think it is more appropriate to call that a setback, not a failure because the Russians have indeed established superiority in the air. How else could they be blasting the major cities and Ukrainian military bases? Use common sense bro.
