I just am absolutely convinced- there has to come a point where Europe splits and becomes divided into a pro-Moscow and a pro-Washington camp. If you're a proud European, are you really ready to die and see your country get decimated in a WW3 just so your country can continue as a US colony?

I am convinced this is the same thing as what happened in Afghanistan- when push really came to shove, the Afghan puppet government soldiers just weren't willing to fight. I think the same has to happen in Europe. I think the same has to happen in Europe- the pressure increases until things crack and Europe gets split along pro-Moscow and pro-Washington lines. To imagine any other outcome- to me it seems as believable as triangles having four corners.

Unfortunately, fear of the Russian is historically embedded into the European psyche. The large size of that Slavic nation, as well as its huge military, will inevitably frighten them into the arms of Uncle Sam. Even Herr Adolf was terrified of the Soviets to the point of pre-emptively invading them in 1941.

The only people in Europe who aren't afraid of the Muscovites are arguably the Ferocious Finns. And that's only because their country is difficult to invade and easy to defend. They also suffer from the same temperament and alcoholism as their enemies.

I'm not talking about Russia military versus Ukraine military. From what I read, some of the reddit volunteers had actual experience in the US military. But- fighting Russia is fundamentally different from when the US fought the Taliban. I don't think the US military is ready to fight on a level playing field against the Russians. They are used to things like fighting poor goat farmers in Third World countries. In no way am I denigrating the Afghans by saying that, their winning with limited resources only makes their victory more glorious, but there is a big difference in fighting the Russians.

You're still making theoretical claims based on the performance of the US army in Afghanistan and Iraq and the Russians in this current conflict in Ukraine.

The Russians and Americans have only conducted proxy wars against each other since the beginning of the cold war and never directly went up against one another. So no one can really say who possesses the superior military, as neither side has had a proper encounter.

I think it's time to give up on this "Russia is losing" narrative. People can read the posts from the Reddit volunteers. It's pretty clear the "Russia is losing" narrative is fake and I think the best strategy at this point for the pro-Ukraine side is to come up with a new narrative- unless you only want to convince the uninformed and clueless.

You're still making theoretical claims based on the performance of the US army in Afghanistan and Iraq and the Russians in this current conflict in Ukraine.

The Russians and Americans have only conducted proxy wars against each other since the beginning of the cold war and never directly went up against one another. So no one can really say who possesses the superior military, as neither side has had a proper encounter.

America is stronger then Russia in every way you measure it.

Superior military technology, superior economy that can withstand long occupations of foreign countries,American diplomacy and Allies is another strength of the United States.

The Americans have far better logistics...Americans can go to war in part of the world immediately and can bring more then enough forces (with all the supplies they need) to respond rapidly.Weak ass Russia is struggling in a flat country that neighbors them.

The Russians lost more soldiers in a few weeks then what the Americans lost in Afghanistan in 20 years combined. The American war machine plus NATO is no joke....Putin knows it.Which is why he is threatening Nuclear War cause if NATO intervenes with the no-fly zone his already disastrous invasion would end up with him getting hanged like Mussolini,Gaddafi and Saddam by his own people
