Joking aside, he takes ethnicity from an instrumentalist approach rather than a primordial phenomenon. Or saying, the instrumentalist view of group identity is the emphasis irrespective if the lineage shows the Caucasus or originally Hebrew.
In reality sxb, Jews are maybe even less than 35% real Jewish (can be even less than that because why would we even assume all of their Canaanite profile ancestries was 100% Jewish-specific and not Phoenician admixed (I know they are more or less the same thing genetically, but I meant the puritan way) before they spread to every corner?) autosomally if we assume the real deal to be an ancient source and not some medieval ethnogenesis admixed population.
