Russia is pinning its hopes in Eastern Ukraine, if they lose there then it’s peak.

So far the Kremlin put its death toll at over 1300 soldiers

However, Ukraine and NATO put the death toll at 7K to 15K.

Now Russia is claiming they have faced significant losses in Ukraine.

The only power the Russians have is their nuclear arsenal, their army is not as professional as people think.

I don’t generally quote them but the reason I did this time is because they claim a Russian media outlet has proof of Russia killing civilians in Bucha.

You generally won’t see me post any Ukrainian or Russian media, esp if they’re supportive of their government.

I only attached this because it was on my feed and was retelling news by another outlet.

I'm not going to lie the current situation of this war is looking kind of messy. The attempted capture of Kyiv was half-hearted on the Russian's part it would seem. I don't think this war is going to end any time soon, I think both sides are preparing for a long protracted conflict now.

All of this makes it harder to predict who might ultimately benefit in the end.
