Russia-Ukraine War

That's absolute nonsense; the Russians are never going to leave Crimea, under any circumstances.

Crimea has been part of Russia since 1783 and was only ceded to Ukraine by the Ukrainian Premier of the Soviet Union -- Nikita Khrushchev in 1954.
We’ll see if they can hold it. Ukraine momentum is strong and Turkey is supporting Ukraine in taking back Crimea. Doubt Russia can survive the drones that are capable of sinking their ships

Let's see them take Kherson first before going overboard; the Russians have been revealed to be significantly weaker than anyone could have imagined, but I still don't think they'll lose Crimea.

You forgot to mention how Crimea’s indigenous inhabitants, the Tartar Muslims, were wiped out to make way for Russians in the 1950s.

They are a stuck in a power keg where they are losing supply lines every day. Insanely outnumbered.

At some point surely they’ll have to just accept Ukraine’s territorial integrity in return for all sanctions removed. Otherwise Ukraine will just keep fighting them. They now have the confidence to bomb Crimea which they hadn’t prior to the war.

But for sure I do think we have to wait.

Yes, the Russians are imperialists and have committed heinous crimes against dozens of Nationalities in Asia and Europe -- and this is precisely why they're so unpopular.

The Russians have taken possession of Crimea and will not give it back; they haven't even committed the equivalent of a fraction of one of their military districts.

People might as well ask the United States to return Texas to Mexico.

The Russians have only committed 150k troops and can commit far more troops if they deem it necessary; the Russians are outnumbered due to the constraints they imposed on themselves via their anaemic "special military operation"...

..I think the Kremlin will remove some of the constraints they imposed on their armed forces and will then likely call up the rest of their 1 million man army; military logic dictates that the invaders must outnumber defenders with a 4:1 numerical advantage -- and the inverse has been true in Ukraine; the Ukrainians outnumbered the Russians with an 8:1 numerical advantage in their successful Kharkiv offensive.

'The established protocol permits use when an enemy uses nuclear or other weapons of mass destruction on Russia or its allies'

Majority Russians live in Crimea the Russians won't ever let it go

Hopefully the sanctions stay till they do. It’s strategically important for Turkey and Ukraine.

Russia must now respect Ukraine’s sovereignty fully if it never wants to stop being a pariah.

Till then the war will continue and Ukraine will receive US weapons and training, also get security guarantees
