The gloves are coming off.

Russia has announced the mobilisation of 300,000 reserves. Russia has 25 million reserves (people that have essentially gone through some military training in their lives). This will be in addition to the 100-150,000 soldiers that are currently active in Ukraine.

This should take a couple of months and in that time we should see an escalation. We'll likely see wide scales attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure (power stations, bridges, rail etc.).

There are rumours that Ukraine is going to launch a final push. This would be interesting to see.

Every man in Russia is a reservist since they have mandatory military service.

Putin is calling up conscripts to fight Ukraine, something the US didn’t do when they were fighting two wars at once.

Moscow just opened the door for foreigners to enlist as well, any russian that fits the description of mobilization and flee, surrender, or plunder in russian territories will face prison sentence up to 15 years.

Then why are russians buying ww2 models from NK? or asking Iranians to supply them with kamikaze drones. They are losing way more equipment thanks to western weapons, they can't keep up with the speed the equipment are being destroyed with the sanctions or certain parts.

They already have all the equipment they need. It’s just about getting the soldiers ready for combat and then mobilising. So months before things really change.
