finnish terrain is harder to bulldoze compared to ukraine. finnish resistance would be some kind of esistance..... not whatever ukraine is doing.A lot of western countries have decreased their military spending since the fall of the soviets, except for Sweden and Finland, who are not part of NATO. They maintained and even increased their military spending in the last decades. Sweden produces several top notch military hardware. They can definitely damage Russia. If these two countries join NATO, they'd mean that Russia is cut off from the Baltic seas. Majority of Russia's sea and energy goes through that sea. If Russia loses the access to NATO, it would make them dependent and exposed to foreign nations. This would be a peace of cake for NATO to strengthen their logistical capabilities and they will have multiple ways to enter Russia through Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Getting cut off from the Baltic sea will restrain Russia's capabilities to manoeuvre and limit its options.
Thats why they are securing the Black sea, remember now Russia controls Ukranian southern ports, Turkey already gave them greenlightA lot of western countries have decreased their military spending since the fall of the soviets, except for Sweden and Finland, who are not part of NATO.
