NATO has to implement article 5 if the Baltics get invaded. Not going to war with Russia at that point will delegitimize the organization.

Very curious because we all know how Russia supplies other european countries with oil and gas. It could stop supplying these essential and vital exports, thus making countries suffer.

In what others like the example above could Russia respond to sanctions.

as for the sanctions, Russia will need to give up something. so i think he will invade another country and give that one up in exchange for lifting the sanction. he might even put missiles in Cuba or Venezuela or he might even sell Iran the s400 anti aircraft missiles which are the most advanced on earth.

he has a lot of options without giving up Ukraine.
