JAMAL
The stock market just dropped by 7 points after Supreme court nullified Uhurus victory and its still dropping.
Somali business elite in Nairobi were all in cohorts with the Jubilee ruling alliance not because of anything else other than MONEY.
Somalis and Kikuyus are currently doing huge business in Eastleigh.
Somalis alone have invested over $1.4 billion dollars in Eastleigh alone. Goods are brought from Dubai,China and the rest of the world and brought to Somali whole sellers based in Eastleigh, where they're transported to the entire Eastern African market even now expanding to Congo and Angola.
The returns have made some Somalis & Kikuyus (including many from diaspora) filthy rich. I mean it filthy rich!
Meanwhile Odingas coalition of tribes are not mainly into business making Somalis distrust them.

I like eastleigh specially 8 street where Beesha dominates. Whenever I go there I stay near nomad plaza. Is Laaleys, the restaurant near Marina mall, still open? I had there a topnotch Baasto and suqaar for less than 1 dollar :banderas:

May eastleigh prosper.

Although I don't believe Odinga would don any better but Somali businesses need to think for the long term and get a leader who will invest in building roads, sewage, garbage collection ,water and SECURITY!

Eastliegh is lacking so much, the sewage is all over the streets, garbage is everywhere, dirt dusty roads etc.
Worst of all, you have the police and gangs harrassing ppl every corner.
