A man from Gaalkacyo who is from the northern part once purchased a garage (to repair cars) so he decided to get two dogs after finishing and renovating his garage in order for those to guard them during the night from potential intruders and thieves.
He drove to Hargaysa and bought two guard dogs there.
When he came to Tukaraq the de facto border between Somaliland and Puntland where custom and border controls are they started to question him about what was in the car and where he came from.
So the guy tells the soldiers that at the back of the car there are two dogs for his Garage and that he came from Hargaysa.
The soldiers started arguing and told the driver to pull to the side.
They then came back to him and said 'Listen you MJ from Gaalkacyo, the dogs were sent from Hargaysa by Cali Warancade (a Somaliland official and minister of interior who keeps lions and dresses weirdly) to bewitch Ahmed Karash (as they assumed with Garage he meant Axmed Karaash Puntland's interior minister).
A commander came out and shot one of the dogs eleven times both innocent dogs were shot dead.
