The girl narrating the story deserves a trophy, I wish I could hand it to her, it's rare to see that kind of self awareness among our Xaalimo in the diaspora.

In the old days they would let themselves go after marriage and kids, today it happens a decade before marriage which is unprecedented and it progressively gets worse with time

Imam Ghazalli master piece is a wonderful book titled "breaking the two desires" (gluttony & sexual desires)

Among these two diseases, gluttony is by far the worst because it's the gateway to all evils, may Allah help us is in breaking those two desires for our own betterment and spiritual enlightenment,

France but now canada. It's just too much fat for one meal loool. I'm not on inquisitive's level though.
I'm just not fond of pizza. But I had one in italy that wasn't too bad.

Nice, good luck with your masters. I envy that you can speak French it’s one of those languages I always wanted to learn, been to Paris couple of times and I love their culture.
