Finnish is very hard when it comes to grammar but reading and writing is easy.

:mjlol: just read the way you write it. Example English speakers would pronounce Sauna as soona but in Finnish it's just Sauna

I Gotta disagree here literally every farax and halimo I know speaks perfect Somali

I wish I learnt proper Swahili when I lived in Kenya :( It didn’t learn it properly not because it was hard to learn or anything of the sort but I actively refused to learn it because I used to be too proud to learn an african language that wasn’t Somali.
I still claim to know Swahili in any job application :stevej:

Lol no language is bellow someone, I'd learn Hebrew if I wasn't too lazy.

And don't kick yourself too hard on that, them Tanzanians speak some weird cryptic Swahili that even I have trouble desiphering

I was salty at the time. I wanted to go back to the UK so I didn’t want to learn anything so foreign kkk
I lived in Eastleigh Kenya in an estate with predominantly foreign somalis. Itwas no help that most ppl in Eastleigh speak somali and my estate spoke somali and English. I also went to an international school which was exclusively English. I wasn’t exposed to a lot of Swahili tbh

How lucky of you to never experience the foreigner's horror of going to a madow store, they don't speak English most of the time

I can speak the Hon Hon Hon Oui Oui Baguette language.

Meme si mon français est merde, je le parle plus mieux que Somali. Je dois apprendre le langue sinon il va être trop tard.
