Does anyone know if HSM plans to continue the war on Al-Shabaab? I felt like a lot of progress was being made in Galmudug, and I thought by this time the SNA would have advanced to Jubbaland.

As much as I hate shabab, I highly suspect some people in konfur might be better off under their harsh rule. There weren’t any isbaaro in shabelle region under shabaab nor was there widespread and unceasing tribal wars. There are now 86 isbaaro in that area that was liberated from them, according to Gurguurte himself. SNA soldiers that freed the region have been slaughtered there due to their tribe as well. It is clear they fear shabaab but do not fear anyone else when it comes to behaving like barbarians. What exactly is the point then?
True, I remember when I saw pictures of Ceelbur/Ceeldheer (I can’t remember which one) liberated, and then recently afterwards, Shabab took over and posted their pictures.

No, the gains he had and momentum at the beginning are no more. Not only that, but the donors are no longer interested in us, especially with US administration that hate Somalis and doesn't want to be involved in Somalia or pay a penny (They pay 90% of FGS budget)
The FGS distracted itself with Jubbaland losing JL's support and antagonizing Madobe instead of working with him. In that part he seems to fail in ousting Madobe and got SNA humiliated.
In addition to that, HSM lost to Ethiopia in regards to SL and KG, one he attacked KG leader and people for siding with Ethiopia ( the enemy ) while now he agreed to have their troops in Somalia in the new mission, contradicting himself and showing that there was no point in attacking KG. Ethiopia getting sea access will show that HSM is weak and that will be used by AS as propaganda of the Xabash Christians getting a piece of Somalia with HSM approval.
The election date is near and that what HSM will be focusing on not AS.

The corrupt FGS consists of politicans who are only innit to enrich themselves, they don't care about fighting terrorism or liberating the country from foreign forces.. Unfortunately Somalia has become a cash cow for many corrupt entities.. If the FGS were honest in serving the Somali nation and its citizens they wouldn't resort to attack JL and PL.. First they attacked JL and now instead of supporting PL's efforts to eradicate ISIS they're resorting to cheap propoganda attacks..
