Yes Sheikhs are human being but lets not slander them and accuses Sheikhs of consuming alcohol. That is going too far.

What a person does in his private life behind closed doors is between that person and Allah, the issue is if sins are publicly displayed and advocated for.
They are knowledgeable people who we learn from.
They are respected and have high status.
Have some respect for them without them you wouldn't know how to pray properly and for the conditions of your duaa to be accepted.

My only complaints with the sheikhs are that they are knowledgeable but not wise. I'm sure there are but they are far and few inbetween.
I'd like to see sheikhs dissect societal issues with an Islamic perspective and make people hip to the game.
Tbh, researching on "conspiracy theories", liberal atheist agenda made my imaan stronger. Because they point out the nefarious tactics of the elites to make people lose their faiths and accept the deceptive liberalism and "human rights and equality" (which don't really exist to be fair).
The medical industry and the manufactured mental health crisis in the world just for profit and to make people lose their faiths
Tying it together with end signs and the dajjalic society, it made me understand just how relevant our faith is despite the world trying to shove atheism and agnosticism in our throats.
It's like the most sheikhs are unaware of how many levels and ways we as Muslims are being attacked. Psychologically, emotionally, physically, economically, spiritually and so on and so forth.
I understand why young people are leaving the deen, most of it is because our "teachers" can only see from one eye. They just don't know enough.
For them Islam is just merely a subject but not a philosophy, a lifestyle, a connection to God and a source of wisdom.
I know I'm not the best Muslim. But I have very strong reasons to be convinced that this faith is the one for me. The religion made me peep the game about the world and life in general

There are some sheikhs who are wise and knowledgeable and practise what they preach. I listen to some sheikhs and they are wise and knowledgeable and they speak in a calm manner.
