I don't want Turkey included though. They have a different culture and different set of values.
Mexico and Greece shouldn't be included either.
I don't think that would work lol you saw how UK reacted to the EU and they're not the only ones. The EU at least has the excuse of shared values and that's a flimsy one.Yes but for all rich countries in the world.
And for all poor countries between other poor countries?

Greece - can't leave them out. They are the founders of Western culture.
Mexico - their economy is growing rapidly. In two generations from now it will be a developed country.
Turkey - again, high economic growth. Their poverty is temporary.

What make you think they'd be anymore accepting of unlimited immigration from other countries just because they are rich.
Poor countries having an open border would be equally disastrous. You'd have constant conflicts spilling over to the next countrywhich is already happening lolalso methinks it would stifle development, everyone would just immigrate to the country who're doing marginally better lol which would effectly hinder progress
The brexit campaigners purposely made the general public confused by connecting the Arab refugee crisis that hit mainland Europe with Eastern European labour migrants.
Most Brits don't mind hard working Europeans. What they didn't like was mass migration from the third world (Arabs, Africans, South Asians etc). During the referendum these two were mixed up and lead to the public voting for out.
