Many Al Shabab are youth who have been kidnapped to fight. I doubt the majority even believe in what they are fighting for.

I would normally call for the immediate execution of terrorists but it's different in this situation.

Kids under 16 do 8 yrs in prison with a probation of 3, above 16 years do 12 years with probation of up to 3 and half years anything above 18 is either death or life imprisonment, but then again Somalia has not much of a justice nor court system or a prison system so I dont know.
