Like this.We need a modernised, traditional Somali architecture of large bleached white coral buildings. Also the architecture of cities like harar, Zaylac ect. All should be reviewed, expanded upon and modernised to create a new Somali landscape that looks - Somali - and not endless international glass and steel towers.
Djibouti best Somali city/country to visitHargeisa perfect place to visit as diaspora. Safe and still get lots of modern amenities.

fr. I hate modern somali buildings. They dont even look good. They look like shabby semi modern buildings that try to look cadaan. And that awful Huge Signs that show the comany name hanging of the roofs. We just need architects that are inline with somali architectureWe need a modernised, traditional Somali architecture of large bleached white coral buildings. Djibouti is expensive cause of these foriegn citizens are tourists. Average Djiboutian git a gdp per captia of about $3k. Way more than horn africans. However it's still tiny when adjusted for the cost of living in Djibouti cityI'd visit Djibouti if a bottle of water wouldn't bankrupt me there
I'd like each city to have it's own unique infrastructure and even different coloured road pavings for pavements and side roads, so you can instantly tell which city you're in. Inshallah we'll also have railways and underground tube systems that traverse the coastlines and travel in between cities. We should also connect the railways to the mountains in the north for scenic views and cargo transport.Inshallah when Somalia becomes an industrial middle income country with a GDP of 200 billion dollar economy, should every city in Somalia

I was thinking that though for a population of 30-40 mill it wouldnt be sustainable. We need to create jobs so i think it would be pretty hard to do so with a muscat style residental areaIdk about other cities but Mogadishu should follow a similar path like Muscat, which is today a Beta-global city. We should mix our old coastal architecture with a modern twist to it.

What a beautiful view. We should capitalise on our beautiful coastal cities and build upon them. We also should dig wide rivers and lakes with differing sediments, line with limestone and caco3 it would create a beautiful scenic view that reflects the blue sky. We could then even charge tourists for river rides.Idk about other cities but Mogadishu should follow a similar path like Muscat, which is today a Beta-global city. We should mix our old coastal architecture with a modern twist to it.

How would it not be sustainable? For the example I used for Muscat, over 1/4th of their country lives in the capital.I was thinking that though for a population of 30-40 mill it wouldnt be sustainable
