Personally, I think no. Because if we introduce this concept then the wadaads are gonna lose their sh*t and start taking matters into their own hands. It will also give AS ammunition as people will call the government kuffar.

Also, no point in legalising something that will not be practical on the ground anyways. Even if freedom of religion gets protected, non-muslim Somalis are gonna get abused.

However, I also want everybody of Somali descent to feel comfortable in Somalia. It is their home and they should be treated better in their country than anywhere else. That can only happen with religious freedoms.

Maybe the status quo, in which its not legal but the government does not really care.

Somalia is a 100% muslim country so allowing people to have the freedom of religion doesn't make sense. The Islamic religion is intergrated into the Somali culture and lifestyle. You can't be Somali and a non-muslim.
