Should there be movie about the ogaden war?

I mean it was a major war involving more than 200-300k soldiers but no one cares? why?

I mean even a documentary on the Land and sea battles that we dominated would be acceptable or even the epic tank battles which we destroyed hundreds of cuban and habashi tanks. But nothing?

That is just crazy... It seems us somalis dont care for our history we only lost 6k soldiers in this war while the communists lost more than 10k guaranteed, but Somalis choose to ignore it why? I'll never know...

You think these kaffirs would ever make a positive movie on Somalia? Look at how they portray us as nothing but dirt poor pirates, even though we have had civilizations before they developed their pigskin color in Europe and lived in caves. They won't ever portray us positively.

And a movie made by Somalis would be low budget with awful acting. I'd prefer one not to be made honestly.

That should be the first tv series made when Somalia is able to. Kinda like Turkey’s “Muhteşem Yüzyıl” series.

We will have to make it ourselves.

Westerners always side with Ethiopia because they're Christian so anything they produce would be biased.

We are not yet at a stage where we can make one unless it is by the diaspora.

Alternatively, we could try to get Al Jazeera to make one. They've already made a few documentaries about Somalia. The Ogaden war and Conquest of Abyssinia are right up their alley.

This guy is our best shot at making it happen.
