I really like the flag because of the meaning behind it but it is also tied to our colonial past. Some geeljire didn't make this flag from looking at the sky and the sea. No he saw our colonial coat of arms and took the star. I think we should change it. What do you guys think?

The stars 5 points represent the 5 areas Somalis occupied (italian somaliland, british somaliland, somali region of kenya, somali region of ethiopia and Djibouti) and the blue represents the ocean of our long coastline. This is why I love our flag
