For most employers it doesn't even matter what subject you studied in university. They just want to see a degree from a good uni and be confident that you aren't a moron.

You can do all sorts of jobs with a history degree as you have proven to have certain analytical skills.

Undergraduate degrees are nothing more than a right of passage. No one cares what you were interested in during your late teens and early twenties as long as you got a good grade and have transferable skills. Apart from a career in the sciences you can do anything with a history degree.

The Dutch prime minister, the leader of the biggest opposition and the longest serving Dutch MP all studied history. Courses like history, business administration and human resources management won't get you a job unless you have the personality that attract. If you are not charismatic go for a course that gives you a certificate and a profession that needs licence like accountancy.
