Company paid for everything. Hotel was around 450 a night, breaktfast 50 singapore dollar.

But the local food was affordable.

I fell in love with malaysia. Such a modern muslim country. Very cheap but very high standards. You can have a full meal for less than 10 ringgit, 2 US dollars. Public transportation is 1 ringgit, at least in KL

Yes. There’s plenty halal restaurants and fast foods.
The Malay make the best sabayad and they called it rotti.

Chinese give Asians bad name with their reptile cuisine. But Malay Nasi Lemak looks pretty good and safe
