Somaliland: President Bihi Receives Malaysian Investor


HARGEISA– President Bihi today received Malaysian Investors in light manufacturing, led by Malaysian Business tycoon and the chairman of Tayyid Quality Meat plant in Burao, Mr. Rethwan Tengku.

The president and the investors discussed the possibility of exporting livestock meat to markets in Malaysia.The Malay tycoon set up meat processing plant in Burao the first of its kind in Somaliland since its inception. Investors from China and Malaysia are picking interest in Somaliland due to policies in place concerning starting business.

i've said this once and i'll say it again Somaliland is full of malaysian investors, im starting to think we should be wary.

This easily could be done by somalis themseleves, f*ck the chinese f*ck the turks. Livestock is the top earner in this country yet people would rather invest millions into hotels. Goverment should tax unwanted industries and reduce tax and award land to somali owned companies who have interest and the money to invest in factories and tanneries.

meet a couple in hargesia airport mostly said livestock trading of some sort, but they're kinda of fishy probably doing something with the gemstones and minerals since one guy said he went erigabo which doesn't really make sense since livestock focused guy would go burco or towns leading to the hawd
