SL reunification with Somalia is nothing short of a disaster!

[Rationale]

I've been crunching the numbers and looking at the historical data. SL reunification with Somalia is absolute disaster for Beesha H.

Dir would be whopping 27.5% of Somalias population while Hawiye would be 28.8% I don't think the Isaaqs would be content playing second fiddle to Hawiye and rivalry between them is assured.

This would make the 3rd largest clan the Daroods kingmakers. I think it's fair to say Daroods hate Hawiye more than they dislike the Isaaqs and even culturally they are closer to eachother than to us. I predict the rise of Sharmarke/Egal kind of alliance if Isaaqs join us.

The current status quo benefits Hawiye the most since we get to choose Isaaq/Gadabuursi/Ciise representatives in Xamar. But any change in status quo towards unification is absolutely disasterous. Any Hawiye that supports it is a dumb coon.

Nothing emotional here, we all see things through qabiil lenses and tbh its more favourable for Hawiye to partition SL(SSC joining Somalia while the rest are recognised as a sovereign state) than total unification.

I support all of Somaliland including SSC being a separate country because this will benefit Hawiye alot

I like the status quo. SL effectively has become a region of Somalia in terms of economy, international funding etc. They have allowed HAG companies to operate in their land, they have no have custom checks, they have no border controls, as Somalia becomes stronger you’re even more likely to see stagnation in any chance of recognition too.

Let them do their own thing, control harti lands and not have anyone under SL’s borders participate in our future elections.

If we did re-unite it’s best we had rotation of power and so SL elects their President separately, then Somalia etc etc.

Hawiye will remain top dog in Somalia politics as long as xamar is the capital city . Also hawiye are the only one who pay taxes to the federal government.
