Usually the President is supposed to be conciliatory and make friends with former foes, the honey-moon phase is also the forgiveness phase but no such luck.

Also your understating just how much conflict of interest and scandals await for one simpel reason: Trump appoints people who aren't vetted and haven't filled a full ethics report. No other administration has dared take that risk but he did and the scandals are just coming at you with full force
