The guy isn't that bad by the way. What's with some Western countries and their child-snatching policies these days? The number of stories of Somali parents whose children were taken away from them is getting ridiculous! This is why cayr and qaxootinimo is gunnimo. I feel sorry for the poor family.

Menace, what's your stuff, ina adeer? Kumaanan fahminba. Are you saying you posted this thread early or? I didn't see similar thread in the General section so if you posted it before me then my apologies. But the point is to spread awareness of this abuse of justice and how inhumanly these Somali parents were treated, sxb. It doesn't matter who posted it first (unless you were referring to something else).

You fight for that child, do whatever in your powers to get them back. It seems to me that somali parents are either extreme pushovers or at worst, very apathetic to the importance of their children.

Its sad walahi in Scandinavia a Somali lawyer teamed up with several somalis and created an organization fighting these child service agencies and has been able to return many kids back to their families.

How you going to fight child services who
are accompanied by police ?, by the way the court systems favour the child services more then the parents, to get the children back to the parents you have to have a team of lawyers and very deep pockets and even then the process takes considerable amount of time to get settled some times it takes years and even then it's more likely child services will keep the kids, I'm talking from experience.

There's a guy who is close to them and is part of that community who has told the facts about this case.

Few years ago her daughter's arm was burned. Their mother was asked to explain and she failed it miserably. The children services moved in to take th children but before they did that they were asked to bring a somali person to look after them or they'll give them to anyone. The somali community was contacted by a Somali dude that works in the children's department who raised the alarm that these lunatics are refusing to bring forth any somali people. The somali community went to them to offer to take in the children and she said " intey somali la siin lahaa caruurteyda gaaladu ha qaataan". So the gov took them. The guy also added that the mother is certified mentally unstable. I wonder, what abt the father then.

Hmm! It seems there is more to the story then. Thanks for digging that info out, sxb. Still the numerous incidents where Somali kids were removed from their parents are inexcusable, imo. If someone is posing risk to their own kids then by all means, but almost all the time you see the parents crying on TV's and they don't seem to be mental or individuals who show signs that they can't take care of their kids. I don't know, man. Somalis need to put their shit together and either be part of the societies they live with fully or go back home. Waxyaabaha qaarkood la sheego waa foolxumo runtii.

It is my conviction that 98% of the time it is the Somali parent's fault. Then they cry wolf.

Meeshani maaha somalia, you just don't have kids left and and right and be overwhelmed. It's about quality not quantity.

Then you got the mother who loves partying, going to aroos leaving 10 year old Samiira to after the kids. Then AbdiWahab gets up from his sleep ( the autistic one of the family ) and opens the house door in the middle of the Minnesota winter. He is then rescued by the neighbor half a mile away. The cops are called and children are confiscated.

Then you have qumayo mother coming on somali TV crying her eye balls out, saying that " gaaladu caruurtey iga qaateen"

On top of that Somalis are great at building a defense case out of a thin air in order to garner sympathy ...it'll b far from the fact,

This is a weird case, usually when Children's Aid Society (the equivalent of CFS in Ontario) takes children, they're often from broken homes...I really don't understand this one.

A year ago 1 year old child was taken from his mother because she left him with her 6 year old neighbor. The 6 year old left the door open and the baby walked out. A Cadaan lady found him wandering around and call the police. Whose fault is it that her child is taken?
