Somali construction workers

This thread is more a thought than development but im just gonna write it anyway.
I personally believe somali construction workers Are underated as hell and Are being miss used. You see in Somalia People Are crazy with 50 floor tall buildings like the ones in manhattan but thats not what they good at and beside that they have no education. As a result you end up with Lego buildings like this.

You see take sterling for example he is a world class baller, but if you put him as a defender he's gonna be shit. Thats the same with the somali construction workers they Are actually good at building those wavy light colored 2 or 3 floor buildings without those ugly cheap as dark blue plastic Windows somali's use. And the funny thing tho is those buildings fit somalia perfectly. Beside that if somalia is gonna look good we should focus heavily on building roads everywhere and line Them up.
instead of building buildings, a good example is hargeisa thats looks shit.
But the one trick that actually would make somali 10 times more beatiful is pavements palms and well build roads. A good example is miami, that are known for those iconic buildings that if you ask me somali construction workers with some little course could build with eas. just think about if the roads in manhattan was like the ones in Somalia it would be a shit hole.

most of the buildings designs are beautiful but its the colors that make it look unappealing. The architecture of the buildings in Miami and Mogadishu kinda look similar. They should stick to neutral colors, whites and beige or hire professional engineers instead of these fuundiyo.

There are no building regulations that dictate what you can paint your house which is a same as something like this is cheap and doable but no I need to be brighter and better looking than my neighbour

Maybe if a bunch of developers come together and pave a whole block they own; it
could increase the value of their real estate.

More people would visit that area andt retail tenants would be prepared to pay more for the foot traffic.

if they pave everything and built the buildings there it ought to be private property as well so they could better manage the security and block the riffraff which would make it a great place for those with disposable incomes.

$100,000/km = $500/retail unit (30 feet wide on average).

A single month's rent from 200 stores per kilometer of paved road pays for the whole road.

Thats sound like a good investment. unfortunately somali's only like to wannabe each other and build the same shitty hotels

That's because that's the only business model that works in Somalia.

The reason why you don't see supermarkets or decent malls is due to a lack of demand not a lack of creativity.

It's the chicken and egg problem. What comes first... investment or a market?

It takes a ton of balls to try to create a whole new industry and nurture it until it's sustainable.

Usually governments help out at this stage but our president is currently busy cosplaying as soldier at his villa.

And the worst thing is that they cant see how ugly it is and how those buildings destroys the beauty of every somali city

They wrap the entire facade in this aluminium cladding. If they used a little bit, and used it well the building would look better.

I also noticed part of the problems is from the windows. There are some better examples below.
