Somali friendliness is no joke, reer UK are eating good from it. We would be associated with good food and potentially could use this good publicity to market and sell other parts of our culture.
Imagine we revived somali men cultural clothing and made a version for mass distribution![]()

I hate how these desis are overtaking our restaurants, why are we so weak and pathetic in allowing ajanabis in our business? It's ran by Bengalis.![]()
Exactly, they wouldn't patronise a Somali run Indian restaurant.I hate how these desis are overtaking our restaurants, why are we so weak and pathetic in allowing ajanabis in our business?
Not that many Somali chefs are willing to work for low wages Somali restaurants offer. You might as well register as an Uber driver. It’s normal for 1 auntie to have worked at several Somali restaurants in one area. They struggle to recruit professional chefs. That’s why you see Bengali’s and Sudanese freshie chefs in some kitchens.I hate how these desis are overtaking our restaurants, why are we so weak and pathetic in allowing ajanabis in our business?
